I got myself some situation with my soon-to-be-ex husbant. When he says he'll do something, he actually doesn't. (Document-related, for example). Why not say "No, do it yourself, I don't care" or just "No" or just "Go away". He was passive agressive before, like he'd be unhappy abt something and it was my job to figure out why. But now it is more than annoying. It actually gets in a way of doing things. No, I don't think it is his way of wanting to reconcile. He says and shows it every time that he doesn't want to. He already got another chick (I don't care anymore). But how to work around the passive agressive part without getting furious? Or how to recognize it when it's coming?

He volunteers to do stuff! And then doesn't do it.

Just don't deal with it. Don't ask him to do anything, and even when he says he will, plan on doing it yourself. He is just not there.

Above all, don't fight about it. Thank him for volunteering, smile because you know you aren't going to get sucked in again, and then go your merry way.
