I'm 15 and I'm like 5'7 or 5'8 ft. I've been the same height for a few years. My dad's family is really tall and my mom's family is usually above average height (my mom is 5'4 but her mom was 5'8 and her sisters are all above average height). I was put on steroids for a few years when I was around 10 or 11. Prednizone (I know I spelled that wrong). It was for asthma. I grew a few inches during the summer before I started them (I started them not long after school started in the fall) but I don't think I've grown any after that (and if I have, it's been maybe 1 inch at most). Could steroids have stunted my growth? If so, what can I do about it? Because next to my family, I'm pretty short. Most women on my dad's side are like 5'9 or taller. I'm a girl. Thanks.

There's been many cases where Predisone stunted children's growth. Most people don't get one growth spurt in elementary school and never get any taller. I've been the same height for years.

God could have intended for me to be taller.

I'm not an expert, but I don't think asthma medications stunted your growth. I think you're at your natural height that you're supposed to be at this age.

Hopefully someone with real medical knowledge will give you an answer. I was just giving you my 'common sense' response, which I am sure is inadequate, especially because you have heard of this steroid stunting growth.
