It's odd, it seems like no matter who you ask they'll tell you something different. Strange how in todays day and age, with the technology we have, it's so hard to get a real and honest answer. You can document Brittney Spears every move yet you can't find out enough about Darfur.

A lot depends on getting China, the biggest economic player in Sudan, to use it's political, economic and diplomatic influence on the government of Sudanese president Omar al-Bashir to end the conflict in Darfur.
China is the largest foreign investor in Sudan, and it's largest trading partner.
China provides significant economic aid to Sudan. Chinese companies (in partnership with Sudan) own a great percentage of the oil companies there, and construct a lot of Sudan's oil pipelines. Also they build electrical and hydropower facilities in the country.

Genocide, starvation, rape of women and girls, you name it, it's happening in Darfur........sad indeed!
