a client's daughter brought in boxes of candy for everyone for Xmas today which I thought was really sweet. a couple of my co-workers were complaining that she got Russell Stover for everyone instead of See's or Godiva!!! I really don't think she had to bring us anything seeing as how she pays $8,000 a month for her mother to stay in the facility! do you work with or know anyone like this? just curious! :-)

Yes, I think there are people like this at every company and business ...... it is so sad people would react that way ...... I mean she spend $8 a box times how ever many 10 or 15 boxes she brought in ..... that adds up to alot of money ..... it is not something she has to do ...... she does it by choice, just because she wants to do something nice for your coworkers ..... they should be happy with anything whether it is a Big Mac or an $30 box of chocolates ...... people are way too materialistic, very ungrateful, and don't appreciate things in life and what people do for them anymore .... this type of behavior is so sad to see ! ....... = )

That's terrible. I agree with you and by the way Russell Stover is a really good chocolate candy. At least you are above that type of behavior.

I had a similar situation today. A girl gave everyone a card and a candy cane in our department. One of the girls kept complaining about the flavor of the candy cane. I agree with you, she never had to give out anything in the first place, so why would you complain about it? They should be grateful...jeez those scrooges!

Your co-workers are extemely ungrateful and rude. I don't work with anyone like that, as far as I know. Did they ever here of the saying, "It's the thought that counts"? Thoughtfulness is it's own gift, but it seems to be lost on your co-workers. Were they raised by wolves?!?

I think people like that are all over this world.

I used to work with a bunch of ladies and 1 guy like this, but thankfully, I moved on and the ladies that I now work for are generous and thoughtful.

To each their own but my thought is : if they didn't like it they didn't have to par-take in it.

You will find a lot of ungrateful people in this world. Its the thought that counts. You are absolutely right, she did not have to bring in anything.

Yes. Ungrateful jerks. If you don't like it, DON'T EAT IT. Did you ever notice that the people who complain the most are also the ones who usually take the most??

Yes...... I think every place has one or two like that.... its aweful the things one says and doesn't think much of their comment. Very ungrateful for the gesture and don't actually care when their told about it.. just goes too show you alittle of who they really are down deep. They are the ones too be cautious of.....

No because I tend not to work with complainers. They get on my last nerve! Their day will come when they need something or someone and noone is going to care. HaHa!
