I believe that Carrie Underwood is a better singer. Yes, I love Taylor too, but Carrie is older and has a better voice than Taylor ( Have you ever heard her live she isn't very good).

Carrie wins for the better voice, and Taylor wins for the better song writer. It's hard to say, since Taylor just turned 18 this week and Carrie is almost 24 (March 10)! Seems unfair to compare! At least, at this threshold in their careers.

Taylor Swift - first of all, she wrote all her own songs on her album. Second, when she sings live, she's not out of tune like Carrie Underwood. Carrie is SO flat when she sings without the computer making her sound good.
