NO way... Unfortunately it happened long, long ago... But we're way past the Stone Age.
"A Real Man" would share chores and responsibilities with their wives. Yes, a man works hard all day long, but wives "never stop working". Not right to me. Not at all.
All the women in my family are honored, respected, and up to the same level of the husbands. The way that always should be. No-other-way.
We are Human Beings; gender should not be an issue.

No. I do most of the washing, neither of us iron, she does most of the cooking but only because she's better at it than me (but I'm not bad) and we entertain each other.

As long as husband= Working, supporting his wife and family, doing handiwork.. Then I'm okay with taking care of Home matters ^_^

I'm a house fiance who enjoys my job and also makes/sells candles and does ebay stuff as a hobby, and I'll ride with my fiance when he goes on the road ^_^ I was an assistant manager and am so glad I'm out of there and am free!

I agree you it sounds like your describng a mom. A spouse isn't your mom. she would be in a position to love you, be by potential of your area, your individual very own cheerleader, shes going to love you besides the undeniable fact that it quite is a set. A spouse is a pal, a campanion, she isn't there to hold your hand. A spouse needs a guy who is going to steer no longer rely on her for his happiness. Having an identical objectives might seem extreme-high quality however the reality is your are your individual individual and so is she and that's the way it quite is going to stay. Now once you have little ones objectives exchange. specially for a mom, her priorities exchange. Having a spouse, isn't having supplies. A spouse is a individual, with a attractiveness, a character and her very own objectives. Your considerable different is a pondered image of you and visa versa, no longer an exact mirror think of. it quite is the place we get the asserting "she's my greater perfect 0.5" or " she completes me", the guy you're with makes the excellent. Thats what makes marriage so magical. the spouse is the nurturer, the affection the tenderness. the midsection of the abode, the graceful. The husband is the muscle, the protector, the supporter, of the spouse the little ones the abode.

That's one way of putting it.
Not to me though. I don't see why husbands can't share responsibilities and chores like those sometimes.
