He sure is great and will probably end up one of the greats if he stays on this pace and doesnt get hurt! Man could any team use him!

you know when in high school teachers always say that you should ask questions and there is no such thing as stupid questions...well they just want to make you feel better. Adrian Peterson is having one of great rookie season, but that does not mean he's the best ever. You should watch the Brett Favre's interview after the game in which he broke Dan Marino's record. He said to be mentioned with Marino is an honor. Having broken all the record this year and he wasn't even mention the best ever, what makes you think a rookie like Peterson to be mentioned as best ever. Even last year when LT who had one of the best season by a Running back, he won't even consider himself as the best ever.

Best ever is were you go wrong! i asked this question before, and i can tell you a lot of people will fault you on this. Peterson has not played long enough to be called best ever. He needs to improve vision and needs to be consistent, and after the past few games consistency has not been on his side. I think Peterson is the best running back atm in the nfl considering he missed 2 games.
time will tell, i think he will eventually be the best!

Best ever? Are you like 9 years old? How about Brown, O.J. Payton, Sanders or even Smith among a list of other great backs. Peterson is very good, but remember he is only in his rookie year.

Adrian Peterson is a rookie, calling him the best ever or even putting him in conversations that are similar to the best ever is the most ignorant thing ive ever heard. He has the POTENTIAL to become one of the greatest.

I cant see hes the best ever...he has had good games but they need him just because they have no passing game...just a few weeks ago he only had..7 yards..cant call him the best ever with 7 yards in a game..hes had games to make up for that bad game but hes only in his first season..give him time and we will see if hes really as good as he seems.

Not yet. Time will tell. A lot of skeptics don't think he can last very long in the league as hard as he runs. I think he's amazing and I hope it doesn't go to his head. If he has six more years just like this one, he will be the best.

He's very good, but has a lot of room for improvement. He is still a long way from being the complete ball player Walter Payton was.

Are you kidding me? He's a ROOKIE! You can't even begin to talk about that for another 5 or 6 years. Come on. Get a clue.

The jury will be out on 'best ever' for a long time, however, he is an incredible talent. If he can stay healthy and keep up his pace, he will be a sure hall-of-famer.
