hey im a 15 year old guy and recently started a job at a movie theater as a consession worker. i am scheduled to work on new years eve. i don't want to work on new years eve.. i have previous plans.. what should i do so i don't/won't have to work on new years eve.???

Being recently hired, you are on the bottom of the pole as far as getting to "choose" your schedule. Ask your boss if you can find someone to switch with you would it be okay for you not to work that day. If they say yes, find someone and communicate this persons name to your boss.... preferably have that person standing there next to you when you convey this.
