I bought my bearded dragon crickets for the first time and i don't know how to keep them alive, healthy and happy for my beardie to enjoy. What do they eat? where do they live in? what toys do they like ?

Feed them potatoe slices or special gel you can get at a pet store.

You'll need to feed them. The best stuff is romaine lettuce, carrots, other super healthy veggie stuff like that because they'll make your crickets healthier for your bearded dragon. Just mist the lettuce with a little bit of water and throw it in with the crickets, they'll chow down and be happy because they can hide in it too. Leafy lettuce can be food and a toy for crickets because they like to hide. I'd put them in a "critter keeper" or just something with a lid and some holes in it with enough room and food so they don't eat each other (seriously).

You can get a 50-60 quart rubbermaid plastic storage container. Cut a square out of the lid, and glue down a piece of screen (you can buy screen at Lowes, Home Depot, etc).
Keep them around room temperature (65-75F).
Moisten a sponge for their water..rinse and moisten every other day. Feed them veggies.
It's important to feed them good veggies, because the more nutrients they ingest, the more nutrients your beardie gets when she eats them! (It's called "gut-loading")

I usually feed them my beardie's leftover salad (misted to rehydrate) and then a few chunks of carrot and/or squash as I prepare my beardie's fresh salad. You'd be surprised how much 500 crix can eat!

They don't need "toys" just somewhere to hide. A few pieces of egg carton and an empty paper towel roll. I like the paper towel roll, because I just grab it out of their tank and hold my hands over both ends. There's usually JUST enough in the tube for my beardie to eat so it makes a convenient dispenser.

Ummmmmm just buy a cricket cage. It has black tubes that the crickets can climb in. Make sure that there is cardboard (egg crates) in there that they can eat and climb on. And just put 2 sprays of water in the cage for them every day.
I found that The cricket food that you can get at the store they really dont eat. They survive for almost 3 weeks on just cardboard and water. That is what i do to keep mine alive.
