I like all of my family getting together and having fun. It helps to strengthen family bonds, create unity and re enforce traditions and family history.

I TOTALLY agree with Randy D. It's so true, instead of thinking about presents, presents, presents, and Santa, i think about how Jesus came into this world and saved my sins. I totally like that and not just think about presents and Santa. I also love the reason that all our family and friends gather around and just have fun and celebrate! I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!

I love the fact that it has NOTHING to do with Jesus, yet so many people think it does.. I find humour in this...

you do realize the holiday was originally called SATURNALIA and most traditions, from the tree, to the gifts, and YES even the Nativity scenes.. actually predate Christianity...

you might be shocked that nativity scenes could predate Christ but they do!!!!
oh and Jesus was actually born April 17.. December 25 is the birthday of the Roman Sun-God Mithra!!!

I just love educating people about Christmas!

i love that i sleep in my sisters bed on christmas eve, and we stay up all night talking, and then at midnight we sneak downstairs to see the presents that "santa" brought and then we go back upstairs and think what they could be and then at 7:45 my brother sister and i go downstairs and open presents. it is not so much the presents that i love about christmas, it is the tradition, how it is snowing outside, there are lights on the house and on the tree, how everyone always seems to be happy on christmas no matter what, how all the negativity in the world stops for just that one day and how people take a step back from their crazy lives to love, how your family is always there, and you remember what it is like to be a kid again, how everything we ever loved takes a chance to love us back, how everyone is happy and has a smile on their face, how you just want to hug some one because you are so happy and just want to love

It's Jesus's birthday.... Joseph and Mary's boy.... we celebrate this day at our home.... because Jesus was born..... we love Jesus... My mama loves him ... my grand mama loved him and her mother.... he is a huge part of what my home is... he is everywhere... mostly in our heart... we live for him... Christmas Day is the day we rejoice that he was born and died for our sins.... we have the love of Jesus all year long... Christmas Day is the day we all get together and say look we are all here another year as a family .... that is the best give of all...Knowing that God bless our family another year... the home , family , the food it just an extra blessing....for living for Jesus.... Merry Christmas and may Jesus live in your heart all year!!!!

There's a lot to love about Christmas. Myself I like the decorations. But the other stuff isn't too bad either. Merry Christmas!

driving around looking at the lights, drinking hot chocolate next to a fire, decorating the tree, christmas music, classic movies, getting cards, baking cookies and decorating them, making gingerbread houses, finding interesting lil stuff to put into stockings besides candy, sparkly stuff, snowmen......and so much more. The main reason I like of this stuff is because its a tradition and it add to the indescribable "feeling" of christmas. It sounds corny but its so true...everything just feels different-in a good way...wish it was like that all year round

I love the winter month of December, and the friends and family that come out of the woodwork by dropping in to visit, the holiday cards, lights and decorations and the smell of pine. I just love the time together with my family and friends from out of state, that I wished would last longer than just during the month of December.
