Everytime I hang out with some of my other friends, she gets soooooo mad at me, glances at me, and looks away really fast. She forgives me everytime, but I have to tell her that I like her more than the girl that I was hanging out with. ( Which is totally true ) Is she being a bad friend to me?

She is probably insecure and possessive of you and doesn't want any other friend to take up your time. She needs to have more friends herself, it is not healthy to have only one friend. She is taxing her friendship with you.

Wow, she sounds really possessive and very insecure. Can you just sit down and talk with her and explain that she is your best friend, but that it is really painful to you to see how disturbed she gets when you talk or hang with someone else? If you explain that her insecurity is driving a wedge between you, it might not help, but it might get her to see that she is going a little too far. It is ironic that her fears could wind up driving you away - which is exactly what she doesn't want to see happen. Some people think that you can have only one friend, but that is pretty limiting. Give her a chance, but if she can't loosen up, you may have to let her go, because you sound very open and friendly, and you shouldn't stifle yourself and your true personality to feed her neuroses.

I have the same problem. My friend Nora gets mad over the dumbest reasons and she's mad at me right now. You know i think they just want attention. And it's weird because we (me and you) want more than just one friend right? i told her if this doesn't stop, I'm not her Friend, and now she hates me even more!
