It wasn't a star dying. That takes weeks to build up and fade away, not seconds. It was probably an iridium flash - light reflecting off the solar panels of a communications satellite. They get very bright very quickly and then fade to nothing, all in about 20 seconds.

Some of the stars of my life are forever.
Some are not.
I'm trying to brighten those stars that faded away.

I hope not, we would be dead if the sun burned out. Even then, if it dead, the speed of light from the Earth and Sun would leave us 8 minutes to worry, then leaving us as nothing. Only a moment of time I suppose.

well every body star is still there only mine is sitting there alone and about to die. it's need a friend to recharge it self.
