you wouldnt believe what some people can come up with. its almost like you want to ask them "did you even actually read the name or did you just glance at it and make something up?my last name is so hard to pronounce and spell because it has silent letters in it. than god i married a man whose name is brown. but the funny part is there are actually people who ask me to spell it too. im like hello! wierdos.

My friend's name is Niesje.
I've heard her named pronounced Neeshee, Neetchee, Neesjay... etc.
I was given an easily pronounced name, so no problems for me, peronally.Oh, and by the way, her name is pronounced, Neesha. Haha.<3

My names Jazmin but they say Jazmean -- I have no idea...
And my last name as well - it ends with the "ee" sound and they all say "nigh"...
Sometimes I'm amazed at the variations I hear. Oddly enough I think the people who have their name said wrong all the time - say everyone else's names perfectly....
Maybe I'm alone on my theory? Don't you agree though? =]

My name is Ana, but everybody pronouces it "Anne -ah" so I just spell it Anna. Oh well. It works for me. Its when they start calling me Annie and Anz that it gets on my nerves. Oh yeah. And Anna bannana. Shoot whoever came up with that stupid nickname. I'll kill 'em. lol
