That constant ringing drives me crazy, I don't know how they can ring that bell all day long.
I don't anymore, I use to but they are in front of every store I go into.

I use to but not anymore....but yesterday... I did and that was because there was a woman from the Salvation Army who was actually singing christmas carols...she had a beautiful voice...it helped me get into the holiday spirit...so I gave a couple dollars...

I always do. I feel horrible if I don't. I've been giving to the Salvation Army every Christmas I can remember. They do a lot of good in the communities. It's just sad b/c the numbers of needy are rising and the numbers of donors are falling. Regardless of how broke I am, I'm always aware that there are people out there that need that dollar or two more than I do.

Nah, but I'll take like $5 and have 5 one dollar bills to give 5 of em a dollar each..lol.. after 5 stores, everyone else is outta luck

You may as well throw your change in the back seat of some guy's Mercedes. The money you donate is not going to charity, it's a scam of a "non-profit" organization that pays themselves six figures to donate 10 percent of their income to the poor.

who knows.. those bell ringers may be working with the store. so they get all the money.
i rather give money to a homeless.

just think of the cause they are doing! it's so great! i mean, i wouldn't go out and ring a bell like that, but i applaud the people who do!

when you go to store to store and theres one at every single store?
My kiddies used to love putting the change in, so we would save it in jars for Christmas and then bring it with us and drop in a few at each store.......and they usually TOLD Santa they did that, too. HAHA!
