Because Quebec is more traditional in the way they do things. Their culture did not advance into the 21st century quite as fast as ther rest of North America.

Because they WERE smart. As soon as we started letting women vote, they started wanting things like equal pay and to be treated as more than property. It also ensured that us men couldn't slap women around like we used to. What is the world coming to?
