I am NOT against Obama staying in the US, but I am VEHEMENTLY OPPOSED to ANY Person ( Including OBAMA ) serving as US President when they are so UNPATRIOTIC as to REFUSE to say the Pledge of Allegiance to the US & REFUSE to wear a US Flag Pin.----Anyone who maintains that such a Person could sincerely & effectively dedicate themself to serving in the Highest Office in our Nation is either the Biggest Liar or Fool on the Planet.

Wtf? First off - 'bin osama'? Now you're just being ridiculous. Why use his name incriminate him? Does having a particular name make someone a bad person/leader?

Second - the pledge of allegiance should be reformed anyway. There is supposed a separation between church and state and it should stay that way. All you radical Jesus freaks are what scare me away from being a conservative.

The only reason I wouldn't vote for Barack is because I think he should gain more experience before he takes over a presidential office, but I see nothing else wrong with the man. As of right now I'm swaying towards RP... although I believe Giuliani's gonna take the vote.

What UTTER and juvenile nonsense. Senator Obama says the Pledge of Allegiance and sings the National anthem as well. He apparently didn't place his hand over his heart, as some felt he should, and suddenly that's a major issue ???

Who the hell CARES where his hands are, as long as he is pledging allegiance to the flag ?

Where did you hear this from lol?
I thought he didn't put his hand over his heart during the national anthem or something like that.
Apparently, in America, putting your right hand over your heart makes you more of a true patriot than those who don't lol.
This is a trivial issue. It mystifies me that people are blowing this way out of proportion. Just admit it; the reason you don't like Barack Obama is because he is black or because you think he is some kind of Muslim manchurian candidate, regardless of whether or not this ever happened.

I'm so tired of this dumb story. Just because he is not like the other puppets that recite the pledge with their hands perfectly on their hearts does not mean he is not fit to run the country. You are extremely dumb for asking this.

No.

The entire meaning of this nation is the FREEDOM TO CHOOSE what is right for you, and what it is that you would like to do. Implying anything else is basically selling this nation out.

What you are saying is that it is fine to have freedom, just so long as they all agree with you. That is wrong, and rather dictator-esque, don't you think?

Which one? The original one or the made up one (witht he God in it).

The last time I checked this was still a free country unless something changed and I don't know about it. :)

No, but I also support someones right to burn a flag. People can decide how they live their lives, but they should understand there are consequences for the actions they take

No. I think he just has a prob. with the whole "under God" thing maybe. I think he should say it, but not saying the pledge is no reason to dislike him, (just my opinion obviously)
