I give to charity's year round.. Not large amounts but what i can afford..
At christmas time what me and my best friend do is host a huge party (we just had it this past weekend) We have all different kinds of food, We have drinks and refreshments.. and music.. We have it in either one of our homes.. This year it was at his and we invite as many people that we know..
We get a great turn out and our invation it says please come to our annual christmas party, Please bring one toy to donate for a child in need.. ect..
Well everyone comes to the party and we get donations even from people that dont come and have heard about it through their friends and every year we get even more toys.. This year we are proud to say we talled a total of 268 toys.. in total.. including bikes and more..
The toys go to a local charity called christians association.. and they distrubrite the toys to local parents that have a low income that cant afford to buy many toys for their children.. They are very similiar to toys for tots..
We had to hire a U-Hall this year because we couldnt fit it all in the cars.. lol...
We love doing it and its all fun to see our friends and family..

Driving program when i was in high school
* Helped organize and run a diversity program
with the National Conference for Community
and Justice at my high school due to some
racial tensions we had there
* Volunteered over 1,000 hours working with
kids who have special needs
* 2003 Lighthouse Youth Leadership Award

* 2003 Lazarus Award nominee.
* Helped run an Ambassador program to attract
new people for the place i volunteered at

I've been volunteering at Houston's AIDS Foundation for four years now. Only a few hours a month, but every little bit helps!

Volunteer year round at Make A WIsh in my area. Kids always need someone.

I volunteer for an animal rescue group year round.
I give to the salvation army "bell ringers" only at Christmas- but I give at every store I find them at.

when a major catastrophe happens i donate to the organizations that are aiding the relief programs. volunteer when i have free time.

Nope, I volenteer at the RSPCA every weekend, no different at any time of year
