When an adult. If you're a kid that young, all you can think about is yourself and your own fun. As an adult, you can enjoy yourself - AND enjoy the reactions of kids around you. Twice as nice. :-)

I think going to an amusement park at any time, young or old, is great. It may be better for adults, though, since they may appreciate it more. Adults live a hub-bub busy life of working, taking care of kids/animals, stressing about bills, and numerous other normal day-to-day things. So, when they get to go to an amusement park, they can forget about all those things and just be a kid. Really be "amused." For example, I loved going to Disneyland as a kid as I do now. However, I experience it in a completely different way. When I was younger, my goal for the day was to ride all the rides multiple times like I was trying to break a world record. Now, I am just happy to be there...to smell/eat the food, watch the sites, shop, relax, and ride the ride to appreciate it. To escape.

It depends on what you call a little kid. Children under a certain age or height cannot go on some of the rides at a major park. Of course there are a lot of rides that they can ride. As an adult it can be fun watching them on the kiddie rides.
Once you are big enough for all the rides, the parks can be great forever. When I was in my 50's, I loved going to Six Flags with my sister and her teen daughter. My niece and I had the most fun on the rides. I would love to go again, but my niece is in her 20's and seems to be too old.

Both have their advantages but I think it is better to go as a child. You will always keep that special memory with you. Also, kids see things differently than adults. Everything seems so much bigger and exciting to a child.
As an adult I still enjoy going to amusement parks, but I think a lot of it has to do with my memories from coming as a child.
You always have time to get bigger and older...but if you are old you can't reverse the clock. If you are a child, you will get to go on the big exciting rides eventually :)

Well, going when your little means that you would have a reason to go on slow kiddie rides unlike going on those kiddie rides when you're an adult by yourself ( awkward!)
However, when you are an adult without little kids at your sides, you can widen your opportunites in rides like roller coasters and what not. ( even though some little kids are brave enough to handle roller coasters ( if they are tall enough ) ). ^_^

I think older because you can appreciate the roller coasters. However, it really depends on the park you are planning to visit. I went to Disneyland when I was in my early 20's and I enjoyed it but I would not go back because I love roller coasters and they really do not focus on that area of the park.

If your a kid you can enjoy things more. When you are a adult you can ride anything you want and enjoy it.
