Alien Movies or Predator Movies?

The _Alien_ movies, no question. ^_^ Why?

It's simple....the *hero* in the Alien films, Ripley (played by Sigourney Weaver), actually stuck around for all the films. With _Predator_, Ah-nold was done in one.

And.....right now it's a toss-up for me between the first and second _Alien_ films. The first one was scarier, but the second one had a better narrative and was a more kick-butt action film (pity the third film denied the whole existence of the second, but hey...).

Still....you get the point. ^_^ I like for there to be a coherent thread in the thing, on *both sides*, a constant threat *and* a constant hero to deal with the threat. That's the reason, in a nutshell, why I never ever got into _Alien vs. Predator_ at all....not just because there were two *sets* of "bad guys", but because the *humans* were just *meat* you know. The *people* didn't stand a snowball's chance in hell.

predator is way sicker, a predator is basicly a steroided superhero like batman but stronger. alien is just alien stuff after the first one.. they are both really good series but predators can kick way more a** without acid as a weapon.

The first and second alien movies were two of the best scifi movies ever made.Predator movies are ok but alien movies rock the house.

I would assume AVP is a prequel since it takes place in modern times and in alien they are on like in the future on other planets and stuff.
