I got Reptomin food pellets for my 2 baby red-eared sliders 7 months ago. Maybe about a month ago, they suddenly stopped eating them. One of my turtles would eat it, and spit it all out in disgust. They don't like it anymore. I'm now giving them a variety of other food.

Does Reptomin have an expiration date?
If so, when does it expire?

Where exactly is this "batch code"?

At the bottom, I see this though:

Reptimin does not really 'go bad' to easily (yours will on August 29, 2009), but turtles DO change their tastes easily. Variety is the key.

Try 1/2 pellets, and 1/2 live or frozen/thawed 'fish foods' like worms, insects, shrimp, krill, etc.

The batch code on the packaging should provide the expiration info.
Examples:
Batch code: 111S16,06/09 expires June 2009
Batch code: 22D24 expires 22 Dec 2004
Batch code: 30F26 means 30 Feb 2006
Batch code: 22F26 expires 22 Feb 2006
