My car keeps dying although I just replaced alternator, battery, and alternator belt. I start it up...it will run for approx. 2 min. then the car stops. I've been told that it could be faulty wirea, a voltage regulator. It's almost as if my alternator isn't getting it's current to my battery. What else could it possibly be? Any ideas??

Probably a sensor critical to the engine operation, like a cam or crank position sensor. If the battery light is not on, it is probably not related to the alternator.

The voltage regulator is in the alternator. It was changed.Check the other answers.but it may be a weak fuel pump or fuel filter.Change fuel filter and get the pressure checked,to see if it is the pump.

I'd forget the alt. or batt. Is there any way to check the MASS/MAP air sensor. or even the O2 sensor? That's what it sounds like.
