In your opinion what do you think us better, the 1997 Cadillac Catera or the 2000 Lincoln LS (V6)?? BUGS ASIDE. I know these cars had serious problems in there 1st years.

i work at lincoln dealer and i know LS is for people who have lots of money. even though they are getting older they are still expensive to maintain. so dont buy it if you think its gonna run perfect without any repairs. if you do buy a car like that please get a warranty so people dont have to listen to you complain about high costs of repairs. good luck!

The Opel based Catera (the Caddie that zigs) will be difficult to find parts for soon.
It's smaller than the LS therefore the ride will not match the longer wheel based LS. The LS also has options for V6 or V8 power. Between the two, I'd do the Lincoln, and I'm a life-long GM guy.
The Caddie is cute, and will undoubtedly give you better mileage than the LS. The two cars are aimed at different consumer markets. Difficult to compare.
