How much does a liter of petrol or gas cost in America?

Two useful websites to check out U.S. gas price and they are user driven, and are pretty up-to-date.

Then select the state and / or city you would like to check. Beware that gas prices vary a lot from California to Maine.

Pretty much same idea.

Then you have to do the conversion like what the other posters did for you.

David Z must live in California. Here in Texas gas is currently $2.839 per gallon. A gallon is roughly 3.8 liters so that would work out to $0.747 per liter.

Around here, its 3.19 for a gallon of regular.

3.609/3.8 = 94.973/liter

94.973 USD = .6948 euro
