It gets 24 mph compared to 20

toyota, but they're in separate classes. The Tahoe is a large SUV and the 4runner is a small SUV. It would be comparable to a chevy equinox. And Toyotas are not more reliable, they're about the same. Tahoes are very reliable.

I would guess the 4 runner will get better gas mileage, and much more reliable than any GM product. 4-runners will also go offroad much better than a Tahoe. 4 runner has a shorter wheel base, and a smaller engine and is lighter weight than the Tahoe.
