Yes - sometimes that can be from the following:

1. Dehydration - did you have water (not soda or Gatorade or anything with sugar) the day before? More than 2 glasses/bottles... if not your body prb went to bed craving water so it used what was left the night before, this makes one wake up totally out of it and dizzy, spinning, and feeling nasty

2. Sugar-level - What did you eat before? It could be two things - did u eat a lot of sugar and have a sugar crash throughout the night? Did you not eat a lot of food and your body needed energy in the am?

3. Medicine - are you on any sort of new medicine that you started up to a week before this? Medicine (even herbal supplements) have a strange effect on the body

4. Insect bite - check your body for red bumps/rash - it could have been a tick, spider, etc

If this continues for more than 24 hrs absolutely call the doctor - it could have been something simple (such as a mention above or 24 hr flu) but take your health serious!

Good luck!

You might of had an episode of something called "vertigo". I think it can be hereditary, but I'm not sure. It happens when the anvil and hammer inside of your ear, move out of alignment. How far? Even a hair-size displacement can set it off. I can't expain the gagging though and vertigo's the closest thing I can think of that you're describing symptoms to. Cancer can have the same symptoms too... so if you feel that bad, I'd get a biopsy from a doctor.

Not very often, like once or twice in 8 to 10 months. I hope you will be fine. Occasionally your body does that to you even though you have a good night sleep. Take care!
