the ALMA awards honors hispanics in the entertainment industry but she denies being mexican so why would she go? and she also goes to the latin grammys

Yes. I was shocked when I read some of her comments.
I recall George Lopez saying he met her father and begin speaking to him in spanish. He said, "Jessica gave me a dirty look and said in a very cold voice, "My dad does not speak or understand spanish."
However she doesnt have a problem with black people. Her boyfriend is half black....
Update: Her father is Mexican, her mother is of French and Danish descent.

Because whether she enjoys being mexican or not... she is. She probably has to go to those awards.

Uhh... Hispanic doesn't mean just Mexican. You know that, right? Whether or not she denies being MEXICAN (she's an American citizen) doesn't mean she denies that she is of hispanic or Mexican heritage.
