I was knocked out cold in a kickboxing tournament. I was unconscious for several minutes and when I came to I had no idea where I was or how long I was out. No dreaming - no concept of time - its like going under anestheisa not like going to sleep at night.

Being unconscious isn't like being asleep really, except that in both cases you're usually lying down. When you're unconscious, you have no concept of time and there is no dreaming -- you have no idea how long you've been out when you wake up. It seems like it was a split second even if you were lying there for an hour.

I was as a child- I fell backward off of a fencepost and landed with the back of my head smacking onto the sidewalk, but I didn't have any dreams. In fact, I remember nothing but the sudden feeling of falling and a lot of tingling on the back of my head.

Yes, briefly, but there was no awareness of time. I just went from one instant of consciousness before the impact straight to the next instant after coming to.
