The early to mid 70's Camaro were prone to rust underneath, and that included where the rear springs mounted. Laying on your back, slide in from behind the car. You need to check the area in front of the gas tank, just above the rearend housing. If there is no damage there, most likely the car would be worth investing money into, if the rest of the body isn't bad. You can practically buy any part the car may need. I've bought these cars as cheap as $500 and as high as $3000. Some sell for much more. But if the car is driveable, and doesn't have much underbody rust, drives straight, and has a decent motor I would pay that much for one. But like the others said, offer $1200 or so cash, then go up from there. He may take less than asking price.

RE:
How much is a 1975 Chevy Camaro worth?
I found this car for sale, and was wondering if its even worth what hes asking for it. It has two small dents, but is primered and ready for paint. it does have custom wheels, but im not sure how old. Interior is fine and it has a 350 V8 motor in it, and it runs great. It is a stick-shift. He...

Not enough info.
Take it to a mechanic and get a good opinion by someone who can look at every little thing.
Are you sure you want a 75? those are kinda ugly.
Not tryin to hate.
I am a big chevy fan. And you cant go wrong with the 350 small block. good luck.

Go here, http://www.nadaguides.com/. This is what the banks, loan companies and dealers use. They also have prices on classic, antique, muscle, special interest cars and RV's. Just remember though that the condition makes a lot of difference, and regardless of what a book says it's worth, it's really whether someone is WILLING to go that amount or not.

Look it up at www.kellybluebook.com , although i dont think its accurate for that old of a car, it all depends what has been done to it and the shape. I would try and get him down to like $1200 or so.
Bring Cash , Its talks.

If it runs good and the brakes work it sound like a pretty good deal to me. Should have suspension checked out also. Don't want to be driving and have something break on you.
