I actually went to a different high school then my brother for my freshman and sophomore years, but for different reasons than to simply avoid him. Now we go to the same school again, for the first time in 5 years. If he's in high school, he's mature enough to have backed off. He and his friends have better things to do while they're at school. Sure, they'll still pick on you when they're at your house, but at school they'll most likely just avoid you completely.

We had twins in my high school.
Cheryl and Darrel, no kidding that was there first names. When the Freshman year started Cheryl was Darrel's sister. By the end of the Senior year Darrel was Cheryl's brother. Their notoriety on campus completely reversed in those four years.
The same may well happen to you. I can hear them now. "Who is that guy?" "You won't believe it, that looser is LIF3's older brother". "Wow, it's hard to believe they are related".
Give it a year or two. If you go to another school you won't have any of the friends you are taking with you into high school. Going places where you don't know anyone can really be difficult. Ask anyone who has been in the military...or their children.

Well it is proven that as you try to run from something, it keeps following you until you stop running and face it. Just face it, and it completely depends on you how would you want to be treated by people around you. Your brother is younger than you, you should just stand firmly and make your brother and his friends realize that you are not the one to make fun of. Or else, just go to a different school. You will find new friends.

In most cases, you may want to simply ask the other person. If it's a pattern, you may want to look at yourself to determine if it is something you are doing to provoke people. Case in point: Your use of short hand, as in the question you just posed, is acceptable providing that you really do know how to spell and it is not just a typo. However, it doesn't take much more effort to just add the letter "h" at the end of "wit" and double check your spelling of "angry" --instead of "angy" --that is most likely a typo. And also, add the apostrophe in "who's". That alone is pretty upsetting and I want to come through the screen and throttle you. Sorry, I didn't mean to be mean.

Get over your brother and his friends. His friends prob like you. Don't worry, people hav been through worse. Take it as a life lesson. Make yourself "better" than your brother and other people will notice. You'll rise above them, and soon they'll want to be where you are. Stay strong! :) (best answer?)

When you get there they'll ease up on the teasing and might even want to go out with you. But sometimes, your brother has your back, so don't change schools.

I would stay away from your brother much as possiable. Don't sit near him. On the bus or in a cafeteria.
While in school don't stand near him.

what you should do is have a heart to heart with your brother...let him know how it hurts you and that his lack of support hurts you too...hopefully things will get better...if anything...just spit fire back...be tough...you don't need to take crap from anyone...sorry to say...but rude people feed on making fun of others that don't believe in themselves...good luck hun
