Should a person get mad because his friends told him his wife was talking to a guy in the club?

He might, but he probably should be wondering why his friends would choose to bring him news like this. (1) They really care about him and they genuinely think she's going to hurt him, or (2) they're watching her like that because they want to take a run at her for themselves. The guy who brings another guy news like that always has his motives come under scrutiny, that's why you never want to BE that guy. On the few occasions I've been in that unfortunate circumstance, I've confronted her with the fact that I knew. I've never cared that she thought I might tell at any moment, but I've never been the one to give that type of news. Oftentimes that implied threat is enough to make her move the situation forward one way or another.

First of all, my wife wouldn't be in a club without me. Second, why would you friend tell you something like that? I would just talk to my wife to clear the air, and leave it at that.
