Everybody is stupid sometimes. I had a senior moment today. I was asked to find a book about an occupation. I couldn't get it through my head that by occupation they meant a career field, not occupying Poland. No joke, total blank on the other meaning of the word. I'm not stupid all the time...but occasionally, yep. I have a feeling everyone has stupid moments.
Another point: I admire intelligence but some of the best people I know are not terrific because they're smart. They're just good people.

A closed, narrow mind is a HUGE indication of stupidity. People who generalize large sections of society as being all alike in some way ("All English people have bad teeth", for instance), are dumb. Also if you find out that someone thinks a cheeseburger and fries is a healthy, wholesome meal. Or they wear fur coats. Or if they act like animals are smart enough to harbor some sort of ill will against them personally. LMFAO! Oh yeah -- Don't forget the people who think they know EVERYTHING and won't even consider that they might be completely wrong on occasion!

An inability to comprehend or listen to any point of view that contradicts there view or belief. Young people do not have senior moments but intelligent people will often think of the more complex answer first rather then the simplest. The misspelling could be a sign of lack of education rather then being stupid. Some very intelligent people are not well educated and I have met some very educated people that are stupid.

When they come on Yahoo!Answers and ask what should they do now that they are bleeding profusely and are in great pain and if we can tell them how to cure that injury with antibiotics.
Should we leave these people to bleed to death and put the human race out of its misery? (j/k)
