How to get my printer back working- tried rebooting & restarting- won't print any documents from comp.?

Can click on file, then print---but printer is just storing the documents I want too print- nothing comes out. Need step by step instructions, Please.

Click START. Click SETTINGS. Click PRINTERS.

There will be a picture of your printer. Right-click on that picture. Click on SET AS DEFAULT.

Click OK.

Should fix the problem.
