To divulge or expose a shameful fact? So which is it, honesty or dishonesty. Perhaps it is better late than never to confess? It isn't my conscience that would be hurt, because it already is, it would be everybody else. Or would I be facing my own incompetence. Freud would say you don't make progress if you can't endure pain of shameful or embarrassing facts. Of course a person incapable of shame and guilt would have no problem with them, but what about fear. Would I be incompetent in assessing dangers also? Then it is my body that would get hurt.
The Will is positive, the Judgment is negative.

I partially Agree, with the first two answers.
However they do not to generalise on a CRUCIAL particle, Human Intelligence and Conscounse.
In that, it doesn't take a great of intelliegence. To work out, when it it wiser to say nothing then to talk out on a subject, you are not 100% aware of all ramifications pertaining to that subject. As doing so, will only make you look like a fool.
That is where Conscounse, steps in. As conscounse, will tell you if you know what you are talking about or not. In other words, conscounse will say to you. That it is wiser to speak or to say naught.

With silence comes pain and ignorance.
If everyone was silent, then how would we know anything about each other, our struggles, our triumphs, and thoughts?
Communication is an integral part of society.

I agree with the first person. And I don't think they hurt their conscience.
Only by being open with each other can people form really strong relationships, in my opinion.

I agree with what you say except that can seem a bit too serious sometimes, so it's good to be silly from time to time too.
