I mean if you can see the improvement he made from last year to this year........it's just amazing. If he keeps improving at that pace he will be unstoppable.

Yes i think so being trained by Kareem Abdul-Jabber one of the greast NBA player who scored more points, blocked more shots, won more Most Valuable Player Awards, played in more All-Star Games or logged more seasons. I think that Bynum is going to accomplish alot more because of the talent the kid has. He has prove him self worth something in the NBA. I Know when the years pass we will see a great center in the making so i defenetly agree with you..

don't get me wrong. Im a Lakers fan too. Andrew Bynum has such a high potenial in the NBA. Also, he has the exprience from Abdul-Jabbar. I mean i dont know about being the GREATEST center in the NBA, but he'll be at the top. That's why the Lakers didn't want to trade him to the Nets last year for Jason Kidd, the kid is gonna be a star one day. And he'll be in the mix for a NBA Championship Ring, with Phil Jackson, Kobe, Odom.

Lets not forget, this is the same kid that put up 20/10 against KG and Co and a couple of times early in the year and then ran out of gas

Let him prove that he can average 15/10/3/3 for one solid year and then i'll admit that he's a star

I'm a huge laker fan and i'm amazed at the improvement of Bynum but he needs to show poise, maturity and make quicker rotations on defense

His work ethic is still questionable so hopefully he'll work on all of that soon and get better

remember he's only 20 years old and he's like pllaying half the game while averaging a double double...he needs to keep himself in shape and not get complacent so that he can be that pereniall all star he wanted to be

Unless he won a championship or two, i wouldn't call him a great player

In a league devoid of true centers, he's probably already top 10. At his rate of progress, Bynum figures to be a consistent top 5 center in a couple of years. The greatest in the league? I can't imagine him being better than Dwight Howard throughout their respective careers, but that's nothing to be ashamed of.

As a Laker fan i in my view like him and observed tricks of greatness final season earlier he have been given harm yet he nevertheless has lots to coach. Like can he play as nicely as he did at cases for a whole season and would he stay healthful going forward. on the turn factor, whilst adult men like Eric Dampier and Adonal Foyle have become $50-60 million money it shows the shortcoming of high quality massive adult men in this league. No ask your self he grew to grow to be this style of massive deal. in my view, i think of he would be fantastic. never the 2nd coming of Kwame Brown yet extra desirable than probable won't retire because of the fact the superb Laker center ever(tall order).

Keep dreaming Bynum will be good but never great certainly. Never the best in the league. He is similar in age to Dwight Howard. Dwight Howard inside of 2 years with be the most dominant player in league. Bynum has had every opportunity possible in LA and still has shown only mild improvement. His work ethic is terrible he is packing around to much weight to complete with fast paced teams. This will hinder him more as he get older. If he want to get to a level of the greats he has mountains of work ahead of him and he as to show a lot more desire before he will convince other teams to even put him on their scouting report.

That's a tough thing to say. He isn't an All Star yet. He probably need another year before he can play at an All Star level.

What the hell? Are you guys smokin' the same rock as the people who say that Kobe is better than Jordan? Get real, even Kobe didn't want him on the team a few months ago, and all of a sudden he's the second coming of Wilt?? He's the second best center in Los Angeles right now, and he won't be the best in his division as long as Amare is playing.

Greatest? That's too much man. To be greatest is to come near the shadow of the greats. That means competing in a high level come play-offs time. Andrew has yet to prove anything yet. He would be good but never too great that he could overshadow Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Hakeem Olajuwon, Shaquille O' Neal and Tim Duncan all of them have multiple title in tow. Until Andrew can prove he can work his way to the title it's very early to say he would be that good.

Hope this answers your inquiry.
