Ohio State. LSU basically "got lucky" in several games, going for it on 4th down, using punt-fakes and other fake-out plays, etc.
None of that stuff will work with the Ohio State defense. LSU is going to be shut down HARD.
Don't talk about Florida last year. That's the past. LSU is not Florida, and this isn't the big-headed arrogant Ohio State team from last year either. This is a hardened, motivated, hungry OSU team with an underdog mentality.
OSU will win by 10

LSU
What is going to happen when the team that currently holds the #1 defense in the Nation and the #58 offense meets the team with the #3 defense in the Nation and #12 offense in the Nation?
I think LSU wins it. They have put up there stats this season against teams with better offences and defenses than any team that OSU has faced. LSU has been playing with injured starters since week 3 (but what team hasn't been?). But they should be all healed up by the 7th (FYI Intresselwetrust: Dorsey didn't play in last two games because of a lower back bruise sustained during the Mississippi game not because of his knee and bruises have a tendency to heal after 5-6 weeks).
OSU's opponents have allowed a combined average of 380.6 yards per game on defense and OSU has and average of 397.1 yards.
LSU's opponents have allowed a combined average of 370 yards per game and LSU has averaged 448.2 yards per game.
The highest ranked offense that OSU has played all season was Central Michigan ranked #22nd.
OSU has allowed on defense an average of 225.3 yards per game
Whereas LSU has played the #13th, the #16th and the #25th rank offenses.
LSU has allowed and average of 283.8 yards per game.
Both teams do poorly against qb’s capable of running the ball (See OSU vs. Illinois and LSU vs. Arkansas [McFadden was in as qb more times than not] and LSU vs. Florida)
Boeckman can’t run very well but both Flynn and Perrilloux can.
OSU can still win this game, but they will need to rely of LSU mistakes (which don’t get me wrong are frequent [see LSU vs. Auburn and LSU vs. Alabama]). If LSU wins the turnover ratio and stays under 100 yards of penalties I really can’t see OSU coming away with a win.
