It is funny to read all the posters. You have two groups here.
The religious centered scientist and atheist scientists.
There is always more than meet the eye. And there always will be things that can not be measured.
A good scientist will evaluate all data seriously, compare and tabulate all information, develop a pattern and postulate and explanation even if there is no measure for the effect.
Just because something can't be explained at the moment doesn't mean it is not real.
I believe all living things have a life energy, call it soul if you will. Some how, some where while we dream we are inspired. All thoughts connected in a timeless place.
Some people claim God himself work through them healing others. Some people have the gift to see through you and help you with your ailment.
Not until you go through a life change experience in this area you will understand what it is like.
No way, they will never know.
For all of you out there, take off your shades and look in silence and listen at the whispers.

I think you mean astral projection (or out of body experience) and while some people can do it on their own it can also happen spontaneously in some people. It's simply the suspension of the consciousness and has happened when one is placed under a drug like anesthesia. I do not recommend using drugs to achieve this state but you can Google some good sites out there that can give you the basics of OOB.

It's called astral projection and no one can do it. The research into this non-phenomenon is laughable. Really, it is a comedy of stupidity. Like researchers taking someone's word that they didn'tpeek, instead of actually *watching* them during the experiment.
The Alternative section would be a good place for this question. There, you will find many people who will believe anything, don't have a clue, and opine with great assumed authority on things that don't exist.
