I don't think anyone ( except the Government ) can touch your bank account without your explicit ( as in written ) permission.

However, I suggest that you transfer your funds / money in another bank. Then do not give your bank details just to anyone.

If a criminal has you name, address, and bank account number, you have already had your account wiped out.

You said someone, who's someone, your friend, relative or a stranger..well, you can contact your bank asap or else...he/she may use your money for christmas.
