I have a old marijuana pipe i would like to get clean but i don't want to boil it. i don't want it to break. It has alot of memories you know. Thanks for your suggestions.

Most head shops sell "fog bong cleaner". It works. Also, Alcohol does a pretty good job if you let it soak a while. The THC is fat soluble, meaning that it won't break down in water but will in oil. Dishwashing soap will break the residue down pretty well too if you allow it to sit a while in a hot water/soap mixture. It will take some scubbing wither way.

Why do you even want to bother cleaning the pipe? Just pack it away in a Glad sandwich bag. That will confine the odor and still afford you memories of your youth.
