A friend of mine wants me to clean his apartment for him, how much should I charge?

The apartment is about 1200 sq ft and he would like it cleaned bi-weekly. I will be doing all the basic cleaning and some extras like making the beds. I would like to charge a flat fee but I am not sure of the going rate? Any suggestions?

Call a professional cleaning company in your area and get a quote. Go from there to set a rate for your friend.
