May is a beautiful time in my city of Vegas. The sunshine warms the bones in temperatures that may be in the 80's or 90's. That may seem a lot but when it is 110 in July it is cool. The nights are cooler because of the desert environment and if we have northern winds, then it will be cooler.

I have been several times in May, and I think its the best time of year to go. The average day will be in the 80s, sometimes the lows 90s. But dont be suprised if it kicks up near 100 either. The dry heat in the mid or upper 80s is very pleasant. Nights cool down just enough that it wont be uncomfortable, but you wont need a jacket either.

Well, I lived out there from 2003-late 2006. Each year is a little different, but on average, it was between 77-87 degrees. The first year we saw record breaking heat and the daytime highs reached 92, but that was unusual. May is a nice time of year out there. Any plants and flowers are all in bloom, the temps are nice, there is almost 0 humidity, and traveling is bearable!

Wide range.. I have been their several times in May.
In early may you can still get chilly days, but normally it would at least get to around 80.
By mid may most days are well into the 80s or even 90s.
And by the end of May several days could crack 100..
