1) sets look like this [1,3,5,-1/3] with as many numbers as you want. that one has -1/3 in it so i spose it would be a set -1/3 belongs too... i would hoep they gave you choices fro #1
2) 18=3 times the absolute value of 4x-10. so if x was 1 4(1)-10= -6. absolute value is how many spaces the number is from zero. so -6 has an absolute value of 6. 3 times 6 =18
3) same as last problem teh abolute value of 2x-3 is less than 7. so lets say x=4, 8-3=5 which is less than seven.
4)if you have a bunch of test score 23,55,67,78,89 your range would be 23-89
5) linear equations usually loo like this Ax+Bx+C=D where A,B,C,and D are all numbers. if it remotely fits that form its a linear equation. just a guess but you can graph it and it will form a line. LINEar.
6) draw teh line y=x+3, ( make aline between (0,3), and (1,4)) anypoint below that line satisfies the inequality
7) anything to the power of zero=1... it hink, it always seemed fishy to me that anything to 0=1
reading everyone elses answers ive got to agree, this stuff you should understand the concepts or its really hard to try and study it

If you do fail your exam tomorrow, and as a result, don't graduate, let's think about why that might be...

Hm.

Spoze it could be because you didn't study and don't know the subject matter? If that's the case, you don't deserve to graduate.

And by the way, with the simplicity of these questions, are we talking graduation from 8th grade?

Pffft. Do your homework.

even if someone answers all of these, you're still going to fail your exam tomorrow. what you need to do is gather all your notes, understand the topics, try some examples from the book and sleep.

you're screwed, how can explain an equation to you if you can't tell me why you don't understand it?
