I for one, think he's a great goalie and I wish him well at the Spengler Cup, where I'm sure he'll be successful. He played a very good last 2 seasons with Phoenix, considering the team they had in front of him. I think any NHL team (*cough *cough St. Louis) would benefit from picking him up before the trade deadline.

Good for CuJo. I heard he was being considered. Also read someone's theory that Pittsburgh could sign him as a backup (backup-backup? lol) if he's "good enough" to play on the Spengler Cup team? Meh, I don't think so.
By the way, Bob... In my Wings/Caps question, I posted a link where you can watch games on Versus. Should bookmark/favorite that so you never miss another Flyers game on VS!
Oh, AND... I owe you for your little Mario Lemieux question. :P
I was pretty busy this weekend, took a nap after working today, even turned down an opportunity to do some shopping tonight... But I'll post my spiel and some facts in a question regarding the whole Mario Lemieux the Saviour misconception.
ADD: LOL, don't cry Bob. I won't forget to get to it.

This is a good way for him to prove he's still got it. I'm pretty sure he was the guy in net when we ended the IIHF Championship drought a number of years back. I'd consider this sort of a shake down for him. There may be a club in TB or Pitt come calling if things go well.
Anyone know how Eddie's doing in Sweden or Finland or Latvia or wherever he hauled his **** to so he'd stay in shape.

Showcasing himself for the European leagues?
Eddie's doing just fine. He's played 9 games, and has 4 shutouts, and a 1.54 GAA (leads the league)

Nice! Finally get to see Cujo play again; little hard to watch him play when he was with Phoenix. I'm surprised Pat Quinn isn't coaching again, and equally surprised that Gilmour is assistant coaching.

as much as i hate cujo, because of his stint as a red wing and because he is way over stated in NHL 2k6, he would do well in pittsburgh, flurry is just too inconsistent for that team

Who knows, a little exposure and he might get back to the NHL. You would have to think that's his motivation, anyways.
