Hey, I have an electric water boiler (Zojirushi brand) and after some time the inside of the container is filled with this thin layer of minerals. I suspect it's because of hard water but anyways, how do I get rid of it? I've tried scrubbing it off but it doesn't work.

thanks (:

Put vinegar and water (1 part white vinegar to 2 parts water) into it and let it soak for a while, like overnight or something. The vinegar is acidic and will eat away the mineral deposits and they'll turn into a kind of soft mush that you can just wipe away. But, the vinegar is also edible, so you wont accidentally poison yourself, like if you use CLR or something.

Make sure to rinse it out really well afterward, until the vinegar smell goes away
