guarding my oddities, and giving the blame to other people for those oddities, makes me feel like a victim. It's easy to blame one's parents for giving you your oddness. It's human nature to guard themselves, and they way they do this is to pretend to be a victim.

Brilliant question. Everyone on earth is a victim of conditioning and a guard of her/his oddities, except for Suzie who arrived here from another universe by way of Manchester, England. She (it) is perfectly objective and unemotional, except when teased.

Neither! Victim is a harsh word used when injury is present & I'm not injured. Oddity is used when none are present, in their mind.
