It wouldnt be life as we know it,obviously-but if you've ever experienced what people call spirits or ghosts, you'd know there is something out there that isnt in our realm. With illusive things like life and death, hard proof may be hard to come by. Maybe watch shows on the paranormal. It might give you a better idea.

"Is there life after death?" Yes and No.
You are living on the world and everyone has been living in the world. However, there would be a moment that he or she would remain unmoved, no breath and no life on this world. They just gone to somewhere but not in this world. The life after death is therefore referring the lives not in this world.

The body is truly the hard proof. Even Jesus left his body in this world. As everyone is living but suddenly only their bodies remained. At least, their souls or spirits have gone to that somewhere.

There are none since no-one has come from being dead otherwise I would love to have my grandmother and dad back. I still miss them.

The answer is theoretical and philosophical in nature. A lot of people are scared of death and oblivion.

Right now a friend of my aunt is dying from terminal cancer so facing the death of a loved one is not easy for some like me.

You have two questions. The answer to the first one --a definite "NO". Let me explain --life as you define and interpret it as the one we are living on this planet -- is lived both with body and soul. Once the body is gone, obviously there no more life as we understand it whether here on this planet or elsewhere. Final.
Now as to your second question. The answer is definitely "NO". since it is a no, you do not need a proof. voila.
ps. despite what I wrote here....there is something
I believe in -- and that something needs no proof.
