Hang in there and just ask for strength to get thru the day. Take it a day at a time and get rid of distractions.

Get down and pray over your depression. A better life is ahead of you. Trust me on this, cause I have been through the same thing. It is not a fun thing to deal with, but keep up the faith and you will suceed. I hope you are getting couseling over all this. Also have you thought about talking to a church about this problem? They are very helpful in making Christmas special for people going through hard times. Somebody turned me in to a church and my goodness I was really blessed. I will have you in my prayers.

Just remember something,...People celebrate Christmas, and it is really a pagan holiday...Christ wasn't born on Dec. 25th, that was the day that pagans celebrated a Sun God that they worshiped...if the Lord had wanted us to celebrate His birth with gifts, doesn't it make sense, that He would have provided all children, everywhere, and none would be without...Tell your kids that you are going to have your Christmas later this year,..that things are just kinda tough this year...maybe you should take them to a homeless shelter, and let them help serve the truly poor, and they can see that they are fortunate to have a loving mom,...and that their gift is having their Gramma with them...fix them a nice dinner, and tell them when you get on your feet, then you will go out and have that Christmas....Good luck and I WILL keep you in my Prayers...

sorry to hear about your situation... it's easy to say "look for the good things you have, your children, your mother" but it doesn't really address your sadness. just think that this too shall pass, and the day will come when things are better, and you will be stronger after surviving this period. peace.
