The freeze kills a lot of the harmful bugs that deliver disease to other animals 7 eventually people!

I like everything about the season the beauty of the ground covered in a blanket of pristine white,holding a girl close keeping eachother warm.There are myriad things that could be listed.

-Christmas
-Kwanzaa
-Hannakuh (sorry if I spelt that wrong)
-the way the snow sparkles in the morning
-the look of snow after a large snowstorm and no ones stepped in it, and it's just like a large white blanket
-having long snowball fights, then sipping hot cocoa by the fire
-its the end of a year, yet the start of a new one
-it makes you appreciate summer so much more ;)

Watching the snow from indoors by a fireplace.
It's nice for people who like to ski or ice skate.
Snow is pretty when it is falling; as long as it's not a blizzard.

After a heavy snowfall, everything looks clean. Also in this same instance, calling into work with the excuse "I cannot find my truck" actually works.

i mean, the sight is nice, snow and everything, like out of a fairy-tale
but then, it gets muddy and dirty and it's so cold
