Ok so i fell head over heals for my best friends brother[ex best friend. we fell out in all the drama from this] . ((And if your just going to say its not real and i don't know what love is because I'm too young then leave because I don't want to hear it.)) Hes 16 turning 17 and I'm 14. The only person who have a major problem with it is his mother who's making my life hell. We have a lot of fun and we really do like each other a lot but his mother is doing everything in her power to stop him from seeing me. Shes going to extremes and doing things like hiding his car miles away from home and she recently got a steering wheel lock. I don't see her major problem but then again i do have a somewhat biased opinion. I don't think what we're doing is all that bad but it seems like no matter what i do she hates me more. Any thoughts?

she hates you cause you're too young and can get her son in trouble. find someone your own age.

Maybe she hats you more no matter what you do because SHE is the adult and the parent and she has said no to this relationship yet you continue anyways.

That being said, the two of you should just go right on doing whatever you've been doing. And you should maybe thank his mother. If she wasn't throwing up walls to stop you two it probably wouldn't be as exciting and the attraction would wear off twice as fast as it would otherwise. So give it your all for the next two months then when you break up you can look back at all the good times you had.

I've been in TRUE love at the age of 13-14, so I won't disagree that what you're feeling is love. Maybe his mom is trying to do all of this because of the age difference. When he's 18, you'll still be a minor, and in a lot of states, you'll still be under the age of consent and he'll be an adult, which is illegal if you two get very serious and she may not want to risk him going to jail for that. That's the only reason I can think of her not wanting him to be around you.
