Note that you can probably completely ignore the "North" part when looking for a rhyme. Since "Pole" is accented you only need to match the last part of THAT word (that is the -ole part):

boll, bowl, coal, console, control, cole, dole, droll, extol, foal, goal, hole, knoll, mole, parole, patrol, (poll), role, roll, scroll, sole, soul, shoal, stroll, thole, toll, troll, whole

If for some reason it sounds like you DO need to include a match for "North" (again, this is not likely), there are hardly any perfect rhymes, basically:
forth, fourth

So for that you'd likely need a good NEAR rhyme, with the "OR" sound but some other ending (or none at all), such as:

abort, comport, court, export, fort, import, port, quart, report, retort, short, snort, sort, sport, support, tort, wart

abhor, adore, before, bore, core, corps, door, drawer, explore, floor, for, fore, four, galore, gore, ignore, implore, lore, more, nor, oar, ore, pore, pour, rapport, restore, roar, score, shore, snore, soar, sore, spore, store, swore, tore, war, wore, yore, your

i don't think of i'm going to ever parent this one out. "what's poetry?" is a complicated question. Does poetry want meter? not each thing noted as "poetry" at present has a sustained meter. Does poetry want a shorter line length than a short tale? Then countless works would be excluded. Can a song be poetry, or is it excluded as a results of fact it extremely is sung, even even with the incontrovertible fact that-- an prolonged time in the past-- poetry became into oftentimes spoken (and in line with threat sung) aloud? Does poetry want words? i think of this is the only one i will come to a decision on. i think of poetry desires words, yet i've got had people disagree with me. in case you're taking poetry training in college at present, you will frequently hear the different of your opinion. countless pupils declare that the poet isn't loose to particular herself till she has broken loose from the detention center of rhyme and sort. This opinion is so universal at present that it form of feels, satirically, narrow-minded. loose verse is meant to be freeing, yet i've got met many adherents who do not look liberated adequate to contemplate all varieties of poetry, and supply rhyme of project. i'm hoping i've got helped some.
