I hope so. They need to get something going like NOW. If they don't make the playoffs, i think this will be a waste of a year, and it would be time to tear up the team and start all over. I hope we make the playoffs so Miami the city can have something to be exited about. Lets go Heat!!!!!!!!

They are not that good of a team..D-Wade and an over-the-hill Shaq isn't enough to compete. And I question how healthy Wade actually is.....he came back earlier than the projected time because he is an ultimate team player. Look for the Heat to have some lottery balls - not playoffs basketballs - in April.

the east is very weak with the exception of boston and orlando. I think the heat have a chance. remember d wade is coming back from an injury. Its not hard to make the playoffs. 8 teams get in.

They are dead last in the Eastern Conference and the 2nd worst team in the NBA, they arent going to be able to get it together IMO. They made some bad moves in the offseason and they need to finally realize that Shaq is more of a detriment to the team than a help...sad to say but Shaq seems like one of those guys who doesnt know when to hang it up.

the heat suck but theyre in the east and they do have a wade and shaq, his presence alone is good enough with wade there. so i believe they can make the playoffs and lose in the first round.

The answer this year is no. Shaq isn't having a dominate year. I think Wade isn't at 100%. I will not take anything away from the team of '05. They used to be a dominate team. They have lost hope for this season

lol poor miami they got the dolphins who are 1-13 and the heat, but i thnk the heat will make it and lose 1st round

Shaq is too old, Wade is overated,Davis can only shoot and williams takes dumb shots. The answer is no.
